#2. My muse is emotionally compromised and breaking down.

Ever since she had been engaged to Reuben Slade Juliet felt she was on an emotional spiral that she had no control over.  The more time she spent with him, the more she was growing fond of him but it seemed to be the opposite for Reuben.  Could she live this way?  He barely held her arm or her hand unless others were watching, would it always be this way?  Tonight they were at another social event and she had gone to get a breath of air on the balcony when she overheard people gossiping about her and her intended.  It seemed like they were not fooling anyone, it was hard to hear others talking about her like that.  She could not go back in there now as she realized that she was crying silent tears.  

Moving over to the corner of the balcony she sank down to the ground and pulled her knees in wanting to disappear.
