When her father informed her that Mr. Jeremy Colborne is sick, Helena agrees to meet with the future Earl. She heard he can be a little eccentric, preferring the country over the glamour of London. When they arrived, she checked if the kitchen was vacant so she could make soup for him. Her mother complains that a lady should not be in the kitchen as that’s the job of the staff. But Helena loves to make some culinary delights for herself and for others. After pouring some vegetables and stir them, she was ready to head to Mr. Colborne’s room. “Papa, I’ve made some soup for Mr. Colborne.” She smiled as she placed it behind him. “Hopefully the soup will give him strength.”
