Her hair is always in extravagant knots, braids and curls with large headpieces to match. Nothing about her look is half-hearted.

.:Personality:. Much like her outfits and hair, Cressida always does things at the point of over the top. She is a ferocious go-getter. She plays to win and she plans to win the heart of the perfect suitor, even if that means being overly nosy and sticking herself in places she most certainly shouldn’t. Unfortunately, this means she doesn’t really know how to keep a friend or a suitor, at least for now.

Cressida Cowper was born the only child of Lord Benjamin and Lady Margaret Cowper. For many years before she was born, her parents struggled to conceive. They had first wanted a boy to carry on the Cowper name, even setting aside the name Credence for him. It led to many fights kept on such a tight lid only the servants truly knew what happened. However, when Cressida was born, she was perfect to them in every way. She had her mother’s perfect blonde hair. She even matched her mannerisms before she was two, learning to glare and side-eye everyone at the Ton.

As she grew older, she learned all things becoming of a lady. She sipped the tea, gossiped, played piano adequately and could even fairly carry a tune. That was the problem, though, wasn’t it. She was only adequate at things, never shining quite as bright as she’d like or the way her parents spoke of her. No wonder she hardly gained a sense of humor, being ever the serious child.

One would think that would all change at some point. She’d grow up and even attempt the smallest of rebellions as most children do against their parents. Instead, sheltered by them and the restraints of only-child syndrome, Cressida grew into their worst habits. She has her mother’s sharp tongue and need for gossip. She has her father’s temper and selfishness. If only someone could see that underneath it all, all she wants desperately is to be loved and live up to the high standards her parents have for her.
