Appearance is important to Caroline, she puts a lot of effort into her hair and what she wears, partially for the sake of gentlemen, partially for the ton, and partially for herself. She's always wearing soft colours, putting effort in, and spending too much time at the modiste. Obedient as she is with Cressida, she knows never to look better than her...but she puts a lot of effort into how she looks anyway.

.:Personality:. To put it plainly, Caroline is incredibly stupid. She never could focus on lessons with her governess, and her parents were too busy pressuring her to marry and play the piano forte (which she is not good at) to worry too much about her learning. It was said, after all, that young ladies shouldn't fill their heads with such things, and after three boys, they were most concerned with getting her married off. That is something Caroline is incredibly concerned with, too, and it should be easy as the only daughter of a Duke...given her lack of brain cells, and her penchant for spending time with Cressida and Li Na, that isn't working out as well as anyone might have hoped. She's still trying, however, though gentlemen (and everyone else) seem rather turned off the moment she opens her mouth.

.:History:. As the last born, the only girl after three boys, Caroline was spoiled from the get-go. She was given everything she wanted, the dresses and the toys when she was small, though always reminded of the fact she was a young lady. Being taught the etiquette of society, and how to swoon and win a husband, was far more important to her parents than any reading or writing. Her childhood was relatively typical for the child of a Duke and Duchess: time spent with the governesses and household help more than her parents, summers at their country home, and occasionally time spent with other young ladies of the ton, as soon as she got a little older.

Once her debut came, she clung to Cressida Cowper and Li Na Zheng for dear life. Cressida, especially, who was the leader of their little group. She enjoyed having people to follow around, and seldom having to use her own brain unless they asked her to. Marriage was something she was interested in, and in her seasons so far (this being her third), she'll dance with anyone willing. Unfortunately, it seems that as soon as she opens her mouth, the interest men have quickly fades away...though, she's hoping in time her father's title will secure her a solid match. So long, of course, as her friends approve, and do not want him for themselves.
