An outing for Two

Nothing meant more to Frannie than her family.  She also treated her new brother, Simon when he married Daphne, with the same level of fierceness.  No one should ever forget their family nor forget to guard them at all times.  

She had watched with interest from the sidelines when Daff stepped into the social games and she admired how her sister had managed to find a man absolutely perfect for her.  Simon and Daphne were an amazing couple.

Then Anthony had decided it was finally time to marry as well.  He had been described as a rake from Lady Whistledown for so long that Frannie wondered what type of lady would be brave enough or strong enough to want to marry him.  He had never seemed to worry about marrying until Kate.

Kate was a perfect match for him it was obvious to see and now Frannie wanted to welcome her new sister with wide arms.  She sent an invitation for Kate to meet her at the shoppes as she wanted her help to pick out some new fabrics.

Kate had always been one to help pinch pennies in order to give her small family things they needed. It had taken five years of saving up to come to London for one season. So being married to a man like Anthony Bridgerton who encouraged her to go and spend money was something she was adjusting too.

Today she was meeting Francesca to go shopping to look for fabric to turn into dresses. Kate was younger then Anthony, which put her a little closer to Francesca's age then her husband's age. She hoped that meant they would have many things in common and could begin being sisters with ease, especially since her marriage to Anthony had happened fairly quickly.

"Francesca," Kate greeted, using her new sister's name rather then Miss Bridgerton. She assumed since they were family now it would be alright. If not then this would already be off to the wrong beginning.

Frannie loved shopping but this particular trip was going to be the first time she got to spent time alone with her newest sister made this trip even more exciting. She was waiting outside the dress shoppe when she spotted her and called out happily.  KATE!  

She waved her hand in greeting then looped her arm through Kate's immediately.  I am so glad you were able to join me.  I hate shopping alone and I need some new dresses.  You have to help me pick the best colors, I don't want to end up being shamed in that Lady Whistledown's paper.

She walked towards the shoppe and once inside she surveyed the fabric with wide eyes.  You must pick out some new fabric for yourself too, I know that Anthony would love to see you in some of these colors.  Look at this blue!  Frannie ran  her fingers delicately over a lovely pale color fabric and then looked towards Kate.
