.:Physical Appearance:. Aurelia is small in stature and height, with curves that define her figure. Being biracial (with her mother being of African descent and her father being white) she has a mix of features. Possessing a slightly darkened complexion, reflective of her biracial status. She has long black hair that cascades well down her back and that she always has well styled and tamed. She wears kohl around her eyes to darken them, which, though not commonly worn among Englanders, gives her a rather unique look. She wears well fit and tailored clothing, not the most expensive, but better than most in the middle class.

.:Personality:. Aurelia is far from a simple woman. She plays a part in society and will not often speak to those who will not benefit her and her goals. She is extremely OPPORTUNISTIC, seizing a situation to gain her advantage whether it takes weeks -- or even months -- of planning, or on a whim. She is MANIPULATIVE and CONNIVING, often using her femininity to string men towards her objectives or false niceties with others to gain the upper-hand -- whatever that may entail. Both these qualities are what has made her quite successful in her schemes and even more so, what has helped her to evade capture. She is incredibly RESOURCEFUL, aware of her weaknesses and using her strengths to aid her in her social ladder climbing. She is a QUICK THINKER in tense and chaotic situations though despises them as she would much rather be in control. She is ADAPTABLE and quite a CHAMELEON; able to blend into a crowd should she so wish, or stand out. Aurelia often assesses others and picks a character to play in that particular circumstance that will help in her long term goal. SEDUCTIVE and a TEMPTRESS, she enjoys wrapping men around her finger to do her bidding and luring them to their eventual demise. There have even been cases where she even managed to convince a new lover, to kill her current husband for her with promise of being together. That of course, did not end well for either man involved. She has a rather CALMING PRESENCE, allowing her to relax others and evade any sort of suspicion or awareness of what her motives may be. A skilled ACTRESS for the different personas she has and her ability to stay within these characters, has also caused a loss of her own personal identity.
.:Skills:. adapts well in most situations, reads people extremely well (picking up on their tones, facial expressions, cues, etc, this also at times helps her to recognize when someone is lying), uses the resources at her disposal allowing her to have more street and people smarts, rather than intelligence in academia, ambitious in her goals -- which can be both a strength as well as a weakness considering the extent to which she takes it to, creative which . . . is a good quality for her but not a safe one for the general public considering what she chooses to do with said creativity, well versed in Ways To Kill A Spouse (be it poisons, or otherwise)

`BLACK WIDOW ` : A female who feeds off of the mental, physical and material means of a male and then leaves him for dead. A woman who sucks the life out of a male just like a black widow spider does, and then kills him after having her way with him.

Aurelia was born in a lower class family, with no great promise of wealth, fortune or any future prospects. With four siblings, she was considering to be the pretty one and her father used it to his advantage. He often offered his daughter's company to men, causing Aurelia to feel demeaned and objectified. This strained her relationship with her father, and his overbearing personality made it difficult -- if not impossible -- for her mother to intervene. The final and permanent insult was when he married her off to an older gentleman to settle a debt. While he told were it was to better the future for their family, Aurelia felt slighted and enraged that she would be traded off in such a way. This anger intensified every day, loathing the man she had to call her husband. It came all too much to bear and one night . . . she brought an end to this miserable fate of hers. The feeble old man was dead, by her doing and instead of feeling guilt, remorse, or any other emotion of a compassionate person . . . she felt relief. And this, replaced her anger and what fueled her future endavours.

Aurelia used her knowledge of men to her advantage, working to seduce them and cater to her every whim. She was not the most academically savvy -- not even having learned to read until married to her third husband -- but used the skills in which she had. After the death of her first husband, she sought work in a brothel, so to learn the ways of seduction which allowed her to move her way up to be a courtesan. It was when she was given this title to a wealthy gentleman that she began to see a more prospective future. She began to do research -- her own kind -- preying on men who were known to have sizable wealth. And, who were known to be sole heirs. This would be how she landed her second husband, and her third and . . . all that followed. Marrying them, murdering them . . . and then taking whatever wealth that would be left to her due to any other heirs in the family.

With each successful mission, came the intensified ambition for more. More riches, more wealth, more elevated positions in society. Aurelia found herself among the wealthier, though still in the middle class. She has recently come out of mourning for her latest husband -- who just so happened to be a well respected and prominent lawyer among the ton. His death left her with money, but also . . . a mountain of paperwork to sort through. She is using this time to research people of the ton, having only moved to London because of her husband and now eager to delve into this whole new sea of fish. She has decided to challenge herself, gathering what information she can and now sets her sights on someone of far grander station: a man of nobility.
