it is maddening HOW MUCH YOU CONSUME
MY VERY BEING This visit could go one of two ways and Anthony was prepared for either -- though he had a preference for one particular outcome. Ever since their engagement, there was a relief that he felt . . . emotionally. Now the two of them would be able to wed, having fought their way through all trials and tribulations that threatened to tear them apart. Just imagining his life with her, to spend the rest of his days with her . . . made him undoubtedly the happiest man alive. So of course, there was relief in that. However what he found no relief in, was the desire he felt for her. One that was of a more . . . base nature. More, physical.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖
Never had he longed for someone to such a burning extent, and while they had taken liberties that night . . . it certainly felt like an eternity ago with how far and few such stolen moments were. And so, he wished to have a moment alone with Kate and thus came his plan. He was to visit her with the hopes that her mother and sister would not be present. Should they be, well, what fiance required reason to see his future wife? But even still he had further excuse, which was the ring that would soon be placed on Kate's finger. Only this time, he came without the jeweler. His attention to detail and desire that everything go perfectly excuse enough that he would want the ring to fit to perfection.

The memory of her putting it on and getting it stuck still brought a smile to the Viscount's face as he recalled the incident. Being brought in by one of the servants, he was led to the parlor, where he took a seat, secretly praying that it would just be Kate who walked through the doors and Mary or Edwina. Nothing against them of course; despite the history between him and Edwina it would seem they all reached common ground. But the Viscount longed to see Kate and only Kate. Longed to touch her, and kiss her . . . take in her intoxicating scent and feel the softness of her skin. How he was going to last until their wedding night, he hadn't the faintest idea.

i cannot imagine MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU This season was certainly an eventful one and one that held many a surprise of twists and turns that the Viscount could never have anticipated. But ever decision, every moment . . . led to this singular and most important moment: his wedding. A wedding that he had not expected; one that he would never have even dared to dream of. He imagined that he would be content on his wedding day, having found the most suitable match and the future Viscountess Bridgerton. But instead, he felt something else entirely. He felt . . . happy. An emotion he had not truly felt since before Edmund had died. Yet today, the smile brought to his lips was one of genuine sincerity. One that reflected the emotions in his heart that were no longer locked away never to surface. But rather, were coaxed out and reassured that it was ok to allow himself this. To allow himself to be happy.

The wedding was a small, intimate affair -- what Anthony had longed for since the beginning. And considering he and Kate were of similar mind, planning the event was easy. It was at Aubrey Hall, with only family and close friends -- mainly Lady Danbury -- in attendance. And it was perfect. Absolutely perfect, because Anthony had married the woman he loved. A circumstance he had not thought possible even after hopelessly falling in love with Katherine Sharma. But alas, here they were . . . officially pronounced husband and wife. And on this day, he was the Viscount, but rather . . . Anthony. A man he had long since locked away out of duty to his family. A man that Kate had unknowingly forced out of him despite the hardships and obstacles along the way. Today . . . he was Anthony, and he was happy.

With the ceremony complete, they made their way to meal being served and the day was drawing to a close. Returning to his rightful -- and most desired -- position to his wife's side, he gave a small smile as he looked at her. It was quite difficult, to tear his gaze away from her. But this time, it was not out of fear of discovery or the inappropriateness of it. It was merely his attempt to try and pay attention to whomever was conversing with him in that moment. However more often than not, his gaze returned to his beautiful bride. "Have you been enjoying the festivities?" He asked with a slight tease in his voice. He knew that his family could be tiring to deal with -- the sheer number of them reason enough. He could only hope they did not tire Kate to exhaustion . . . considering what was to unfold once they found privacy and release from this part of their wedding day.

i will ALWAYS PROTECT YOU Seeing the shifts in the her expressions brought amusement to the Viscount. The array of reactions humoring as he knew that with her hand upon him, there was that . . . curiosity, coupled with her question of his desire. Yet, Anthony was determined. He wished for her to only experience for the moment as he made promise of their wedding night. She asked him how she was to wait until their wedding night after this, to which he replied with ease and a bit of mischievous playfulness. "With great anticipation I would imagine." He could not help but smile that played on his features as he looked at her, his eyes lingering over her body as she lay comfortably upon the bed.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖
This moment, felt oddly comfortable. Strangely eased. As if this was not the first time they had been so intimate with one another . . . yet it was. And the comfort that came with it, was quite reassuring to the Viscount. He had not been concerned about it yet experiencing it with her now, assured him that it could be found easily between them. Unexpectedly so. She rose to dress herself, putting on her bloomers and remarking on the very question that had started all this.

"It is a beautiful necklace indeed," he commented nonchalantly, teasing towards the fact that it was the only thing that he had not taken off. The only thing that remained on her person during their pleasurable activities. "Did I not fulfill your request to the utmost satisfaction?" He asked in the same teasing tone. As he pulled on her dress, Anthony moved towards her, positioning himself behind her which, also landed them in such intimate actions with one another. His fingers moved to the ties of her dress, starting to pull them together to bind the gown. "I can be most helpful," he added on with a continued small smile.
