Her hair is brown with bangs along her forehead and the rest falling past her shoulders in natural ringlet curls. Her complexion, eyes and hair color are features that cause her to bare a striking resemblance to her father, having taken more of his physical traits than her mother's. She is often clad in dresses and loves wearing pretty things -- even if she is prone to playing outside and dirtying them. She loves bows and accessories, dressing up and having fun whilst doing so.[break][break] PERSONALITY: Evelina has a very bubbly personality. She is energetic, a ball of enthusiasm and zeal. She always has a smile on her face and enjoys trying to make other people smile too. She is extremely empathetic and tries to cheer others up when she sees they are feeling sad or angry. She is inquisitive and overly honest, often speaking her mind. She has a thirst for knowledge, always wanting to learn more making her a bright, sharp, and intelligent little girl. In contrast to her father, her emotions are very evident on her face and she makes sure others know just how she is feeling. She believes she loves everything and everyone, quite generous, friendly and sociable, not shy to approach a stranger to strike conversation, or say anything that comes to mind. She is creative and innovative, thoroughly enjoying making things using the materials around her. You can often tell when she has been in a room due to the trail of things she leaves behind her. Evelina has a vivid imagination, enjoying telling stories almost as much as she enjoys listening to stories and books. She gets easily attached to things whether it's people, animals, toys, etc. Being the only child in a household of adults, she does know how to get what she wants, and can be a little too clever for her own good.[break][break] HISTORY: Evelina was born as the sole child of Rueben Slade and his first wife, the daughter of a Duke. She has no memory of her mother, as she had passed away when Evelina was very young. She likes to remember her as a wonderful, kind woman who she loved very much. Evelina spent the next years of her young life growing up in her father's country home. She is protected by his staff and her Governess -- also her caretaker -- who spends a significant amount of time with her. She has a very close relationship with those she is around, especially her father.[break][break] CIRCUMSTANCE: Because her father is quite overprotective of her, Evelina has lived her life tucked away from the public eye, striving to keep her existence unknown to many. 1813 will be the first time she is in Mayfair, London for the social season and is extremely excited to spend time with her uncle, aunts and grandmother . . . and of course her best friend Gilly.
