this sceptred isle this earth of majesty, this seat of mars, this other eden William had taken a trip to Dr. George Bishop's home, fearing that an ailment had taken over him that afternoon when he failed to focus on his dukedom duties back at the Slade estate in Mayfair. He'd confessed that he'd felt tiresome -- as if he could hardly move, really.
Dr. Bishop offered him a swift check up in his home across Regent's Park. Lying across the chaise in the drawing room, he allowed the physician to do his job, and after it was finished, he'd been given some sort of fluid to help heal his headache. Suddenly, the duke passed out, and in his dreams, he'd seen his niece being stolen away by a pair of hands into some dark abyss.
William murmured in his deep sleep, calling out for her safety, "No, Evelina, no!"

Helena walked in the room and heads a thud. She rushes to the aid of a man on the floor. ”Is he alright, Papa?” Helena asked as she noticed something in his coat. “I think he was the one who took Bridget home recently.” Helena and her father lifted him off the floor and brought him back to the sofa. She heard him murmured, like a name in his dream. Hopefully, with a wet rag will cool him off and come to from his nightmare. “If you can hear me, come back.” She whispered as she let him rest. William Slade (wrong Bishop lol)

this sceptred isle this earth of majesty, this seat of mars, this other eden All William could see was his niece being taken into the shadows. He tried to reach out to no avail, discovering that she was nowhere to be found. He sensed his limbs being lifted, and his ceruleans burst open, only to find himself in the presence of his physician and daughter.
Feeling his forehead, he touched the wet rag that seemed to have been recently placed there. "I'm terribly sorry," The Duke apologised, attempting to sit up straight. "That concoction left me even more bleary-eyed."

As she was placed a freshly soaked rag onto the Duke’s head, Helena smiled as he was coming to. He was attempting to sit up, but she gently pushed him down. “Continue to lie down, Your Grace.” Helena made sure he was comfortable. He took a tumble after swallowing the liquid ailment, and could still feel the effects. “You do not need to apologize. But there is no rush to leave if you’re feeling dizzy. Relax. You took a hard fall.”She continues to monitor the Duke’s progress, hopefully feeling relaxed after what occurred earlier. “I do want to thank you for bringing Bridget home the other day.” She returned with a fresh rag. “She and I both know the kind of person my brother is and some ladies want to start gossip out of spite.”William Slade

this sceptred isle this earth of majesty, this seat of mars, this other eden He was pushed down by the physician's daughter, peering up at her but merely seeing a blurry figure instead of Helena. Moments later, however, he managed to regain his sight, listening to her speak. "It was the least I could do, Miss Bishop." The Duke managed a small smile as he reclined back.
"She need not take heed of what those women were saying at the modiste's shop," Will commented. "If need be, I will deal with the rumours." As he had the power to do so.

“I guess it’s a perk of not being a part of the Ton.” Helena chuckled as she replaced the rag. “ Some members are jealous of us for having two things they don’t have: money and respectability. My parents taught us to treat people with respect, no matter their background. I’ll be right back.”Helena got up as she heads over to the kitchen to see if cook had something simple to for the Duke. He might decline out of bravado, but a warm meal will help him feel better figuratively and literally. “I have a bowl of soup and bread.” She return with a small bowl. “I will leave this on the table if you want some. It help ease the side effects.”William Slade

this sceptred isle this earth of majesty, this seat of mars, this other eden Being part of the Ton was hectic and so it led William to question what it was like not to be part of it, yet still have enough money to manage a decent household. When one was part of the society he'd grown up in, all eyes were on them. It led the Duke to constantly peer behind his shoulder out of fear that he would be on the tongues of every individual in their tight-knit community.
He relaxed back as she left, wondering what was mixed into the concoction that led him to feel so drowsy and out of place. The physician's daughter then returned with a bowl of soup and bread. "Please, Miss Bishop," William forwent any formalities, gesturing toward the seat near him. "Do not trouble yourself further. Take heed and rest, for I'll feel fitter in a few moments."

“I know it’s my home but you’re the patient and need of some care before you take your leave.” Helena relaxed as she flex her feet. “I insist in helping, your grace. Too bad as woman, I can not be a nurse.”She watched as he ate his bowl of soup and loaf of bread. She hoped the food filled his senses and regain his strength to return to his duties. “Would you like anything to drink to go with the soup?” Helena asked as she took the plate away. “Or maybe a pastry to take home to enjoy? I know I am offering too much but I want to make sure everyone is well enough before leaving here.”William Slade
