My muse loves yours; your muse doesnβt feel the same way. A chance meeting was all that it took for Philippa to fall head over heels for the dark stranger. He was the brooding, sullen type which made him even more appealing to her and she wanted to go to him to tell him how she felt but she was scared. Men didn't look at her like she was a desirable woman but she decided to go for it anyway. After a few failed attempts Phillipa went to find him. Looking at Ezra from across the room her heart raced and her hands shook but she knew that she wanted to do this, sooner or later her love for him could have to be shared or the pain of it would eat her alive. Now she walked towards him with determination in her steps to stand before him. Hello Ezra, may we speak?

Tag: @phillipaf you can run BUT YOU'LL DIE TIRED There were not many times in Ezra's life where he truly felt relaxed and at ease. Ever since tragedy had befallen his family all those years ago, he had vehemently immersed himself in his work and what few moments he had where he was not doing so were spent drinking or finding some form of sleep. And it was just how he liked it: remaining busy and occupied. Channeling his energy into productivity rather than remaining idle. Today was no exception where he was patrolling and supervising, hired upon request for such was the case when there were so many of high class in the room.
β β β β β β β He did not converse with them unless necessary because for him . . . this was work. Not a time to socialize. That being said, when a young woman approached him, he paused to look at her, familiarity striking him. For they had met a few times before. Enough at least for her to use his first name, which was not entirely common, yet nothing he felt required correcting. He gave a nod, waiting for her to continue yet realized that perhaps she had asked it because she wanted to speak to him away from the crowd in the room. "In private?" He clarified willing to accommodate whatever she needed. Perhaps she needed him for why he was here: to report suspicious behavior from someone. Surely, it was nothing else that would draw the attention of a noblewoman to him.

The moment she said his name she noticed his reaction and she wished that she had not addressed him like that. They had only met a few times so she should have been more formal but because she had been dreaming about him for so long she felt as if she knew him. Unfortunately she only knew that Ezra that visited her dreams nightly and she had no idea if the real Ezra would feel the same about her. She was fighting to act normal around him even though she had an overwhelming urge to kiss him to see if maybe she could make at least one of her dreams about him real. All that was rushing through her mind as she stood in front of him and she nodded hoping not to make a fool of herself. Yes, please meet me on the balcony. She then excused herself and headed straight to the balcony.
No one else was out on the balcony as the temperature had gone down, Philipa noticed the cold bite in the air as soon as she walked outside. Hugging herself to keep warm she waited for him to join her.
