out in the cold without warm clothes

There was yet another wild party going on at her home and all Lucy wanted was some peace.  She had so many things on her mind that she was feeling like she was slowly losing her mind.  There had been the visit from Viscount Bridgerton that she was still reeling from and no matter how she tried to justify it to herself she knew that she was being selfish.  She owed it to Benedict to end things now before it hurt him or his family but she didn't know if she was strong enough to end things right now. 

She was in her room alone staring into the fire nursing a glass of wine when the noise in the house finally got to her. She screamed loudly and threw her glass into the fire then she realized that she needed to be anywhere but here.  

Running outside in the darkness she had not bothered to grab a coat in her rush to escape and she almost ran right into another lady standing outside.
