At tonight's social Marianne spent most of the night dancing with William, she was excited to be his arms and looking forward to their wedding. The word had started to spread that she was engaged but it didn't seem to matter to the men here, it was as if they were determined to change her mind and she was approached more tonight for dance requests than before. She was starting to grow annoyed it and so when she was approached again she didn't look but just answered. Whatever you're going to ask, the answer is No!
