Canon Characters

- Characters from the show -

• Deceased Characters: You are permitted to be characters that died in the show, but please be mindful of the timeline. For example: canon threads with that character can only take place before they die. You can however have more freedom in the AU board for these characters, so click HERE for more information about that.
• Missing Details: If not a great deal of information is known about your character (i.e. history) then you are permitted to make it up. However, please remain consistent with the events of the show and how the character was portrayed. As episodes continue to air, you may be asked to tweak your bio in accordance to what is revealed on the show.

Book Based Characters

- Characters from the books, not in the show -

• Potential Changes: If you are playing a character from the book not in the show, we of course are okay with that. However, please keep in mind that should the character be presented in the series, then you will be asked to make any changes (i.e. history, model, personality, etc) to ensure it is consistent with the show.
• Canon Mention: In the books there may be characters that were not presented in the series (yet). As we are a show based role play, we'd like to remain consistent with that to avoid any confusion. If you play a character solely from the book who has some sort of relationship with a character in the show, then you must get the permission of the member playing that canon. If the canon is not being actively played, then please contact us the admins and we will work something out.

Made Up Characters

- characters that are completely made up -

• Canon-Based: We are a canon based role play so please stick as closely to the show as you can as well as avoid mirroring any of the canons and their story lines. This is to protect those rare canons from the show as we do not want to undermine their originality by having similar made up characters.
• Skill Limitations: When stating your character's abilities and special skills, please be sure to limit what your character can do. Be aware of the abilities that canons (characters in the show) have and please do not mimic them or try to outdo them. Be mindful of what makes them rare and unique to the show and please be respectful of those canons and avoid mirroring their personalities and plots.
• Canon Mention: If you want to create a character that has a past or relationship (i.e. sibling, cousin, romantic partner, etc) with a canon, you must ask that member for permission and work out any necessary details with them. Please add a note in your bio stating that you have that member's permission. If a character you want to include in your bio is not being actively played on the site, then contact us admins and we will work something out.
