.:History:. Kat was the only daughter from her parents. Her mother die early on, and her father would eventually re-amrry. Kate liked his new wife, and the sister that she would gain from it. They weren't rich, but they were doing well. 5 years after her father's passing the three ladies saved up enough coin to go to London for one season. Both girls would have to find a husband that year, as they could not afford another. It was in this season that Anthony Bridgerton would set his cap for Edwina and Kate would roll up her shelves, and see that she saved her sister from THAT fate.
