.:Personality:. Clara is a calm and peaceful soul. She was the oldest of many siblings, and due to this is unfazed by many theatrics that sometimes happen around her. She was schooled as much as she was allowed by her parents, until money began to run short, then she because a tutor for her siblings to help the family. She is kind, and knows when to pick her battles, and when to let the chaos happen.

.:History:. Clara was born the eldest daughter of a fourth son, a man who replied on his monthly income from his father to live off of. This was well enough, and did the family well until the other siblings began to come along. This left the family's pockets growing slimer and slimer as each day passed, and another sibling joined them. Due to limited funds, and not being direct nobility, Clara's choices were marriage (with no dowry) or seek employment. As the family could not afford a season, and with no dowry, Clara turned to looking for work. Educated in the ton's rules, and procedures, it should have been easy for her to find a job as a chaperone or governess--however she was also very beautiful. Mothers and wife's did not wish a pretty face to be near their husbands and sons for fear of temptation. It left Clara struggling to job employment.

Until she would eventually find employment from Reuben Slade, for his daughter. And thus, began the adventure that would change her life.
