Being the daughter, and then sister of a Duke, Peggy is expecting nothing but the best. Being a Slade has its own expectations. To the Ton, she’s prim and pure, a perfectly suitable wife for anyone who wants her, despite her “advanced” age. At home, she is the family’s peacemaker between her siblings and mother. She is also known for playful schemes at home, from playing with her niece to spiking brandy into her mother and sister’s drink.
Skills
An accomplished equestrian, she goes on daily rides with her beloved horse, Fleur-de-lis. Her needlework is impeccable but would occasionally stab herself when she’s too focused on the job.

Born in the Fall of 1791, Lady Margaret Louise Slade was the daughter the Duke and Duchess of Wellington hoped for after two sons. Her father called her Peggy, and the nickname was kept to the dismay of the Duchess.
Growing up, Peggy felt she had two fathers, the Duke and her oldest brother William. They always find a way to protect them from the scrutiny of the Ton. To prepare for eventual debut, Peggy had the best team her parents could find. The best governess. The best riding instructor. The best pianoforte teacher. If she is going to attract suitors, she needs to be perfect.
After her father’s and oldest brother took over the Dukedom, Peggy relied on perfection as she made her debut. However, as time passes by and her younger sister Willa also out in society, Peggy needs to reevaluate her strategy of finding her match.
When her other brother Reuben returned to the family, he returned with a daughter, Evelina. She quickly took a liking to the child, excited to see her. But with his return, she is worried it could cause scandal and possibly ruin her chances as time is running out for her before people start calling her a “failure”.
