When in Scottland she dresses as a maid to help her mother work at the inn or her father do weddings. When in Enland she dresses nicer, in clothes that she works hard to keep clean.

.:Personality:. Isla had the childhood she felt anyone would want. Loving parents who taught her that family mattered, and love was important. She was raised to see bride after bride marry someone they love, and she grew to want it for herself. Thus making Isla a odd mix of sweet and loud. Loud because she also learned that no one listen to children, women, or whom they though below them unless that person was loud enough to make them listen. She believes that you should be kind to kind people--and mean to mean people.

Isla always begins as kind to people, however, can quickly become a force to be reckoned with if they cross what she deems are important morals. Morals that she learned by observation while growing up. She is not afraid to yell or even throw things in her rage.

.:History:. Isla was born to a Scottish family, of a mother who worked as a maid in a local inn; and a father who was a blacksmith. Her father mostly made things of necessity for locals (horse shoes, keys, bolts, or the like), however good money came from the English whom came up from London to wed. Her father would often charge the couple for the wedding, the rings, and give them a song from his daughter for free (unless they looked rich, then he would charge them for that too).

Isla loves the romance of the weddings, and often dreamed of her own. She made no bones to everyone around her that one day she wanted a nice wedding. She could tell you the flowers she wanted, the dress would make herself, and even what songs she would ask to be sung. Isla was born to be a wife.

There were of course, the occasional forced marriage that would end up at her father's forge, and Isla learned that she did not speak up for the bride then no one would out here. Her father was displeased over the loss of coin, but Isla learned the power of not taking someone's coin for her silence if she wanted to help someone. So over the year she learned to value and dream of the magicalness of a wedding--but not let it be ruined by force.
