GENERAL RESPECT | 1 | Be kind, courteous, and respectful to other members on the site. If you have a difference of opinion, or if someone does something that upsets you, contact us rather than handling it yourself. Do not harass, attack, or offend any other members.

POSITIVE | 2 | We are a positive, inclusive, bash free board. Please do not fill the site with angry comments, rants, or any sort of negativity. This is to ensure the board remains a positive, safe and fun place for everyone!

NO PLAGIARISM | 4 | We have a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism of any kind. This includes copying and paste your bio information directly from another site, taking other people's graphics without credit, and so on.

CANON BASED | 5 | We ask that you remember that this is based on a Canon plot and with that in mind, remain as consistent with it as possible. You can find out more in the "Fitting In High Society" board.

| We are an inclusive site and welcome everyone who would like to join this community! This also includes the types of characters you would like to make in terms of race, ethnicity, sexuality, etc. This site is also not limited to only role players. You are more than welcome to join if you enjoy the series and wish to chat about it and in the process, meet other fans.

GETTING STARTED BIO TEMPLATE | 1 | We have a standard template that must be completely filled out if you are applying for a character. Please do not change anything and follow the specific requirements in each field. If you are stuck on a section, don't hesitate to send us a PM and we will help you the best we can.

CHARACTERS | 2 | We will be accepting both canon characters as well as made up characters. Please ensure you conform them to properly fit into the plot of this role play. Any characters that were in the book series, but not in the show are considered Made Up Characters.

SKILL LIMITATION | 3 | Please do not have your character excel at everything. Add limitations to him or her to keep a fair balance on the site, as well as add in weaknesses for your character to balance out their strengths.
|
ADMIN APPROVAL | 4 | You must wait for your bio to be approved before you can post in the role play, as well as the the plots and plans board, and the graphic requests section. You will receive a PM once your bio has been approved. You do not have to fill out any claims as the admin will automatically do this this after you reply to the initial Approved PM. You must reply to this pm before you make any posts.

WIP BIOS | 5 | You are permitted to post WIP (Work In Progress) bios. However, if it is not complete after 5 days of being posted, then the bio will be taken down. If it was for a canon character, then we may ask that you wait for a certain amount of time before reapplying.

ROLE PLAY THIRD PERSON | 1 | All posts must be written in third person (he, she, they), not first person (I, me, my).
|
POST LENGTH | 2 | We ask that each post be a minimum of two paragraphs long. Please make sure to give enough to reply to so that the person you are role playing with does not feel inconvenienced. |
POSTING MINIMUM | 3 | We ask for a minimum of 1 post per week. This is to keep plots moving and maintain some activity. We of course understand that Real Life can get in the way so please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns about this! |
TAGGING & PLOTTING | 4 | You must discuss the plot of a thread with the other member before tagging them in the thread. The only exception to this is memes where the member is accepting certain meme starters. Good communication with your posting partner is especially important for any shipping, or romantic thoughts/actions that you wish for your character(s) to engage in with the other. |
CHARACTER LIMIT | 5 | While we do not have a limit as to how many characters you can play we ask that you take only as many as you can handle. After you create 3 characters, you must contact the admin before creating another to 'check in' with them. You can not post an application for a fourth character without discussing it with the admin first. |
STANDARD | 6 | Members are required to stay as close to their characters as possible. Once your bio is approved you are not permitted to edit anything major in it without the admin's approval. Please ensure your character is consistent to how you wrote about them in your bio. Canons are expected to remain consistent with the show as well in regards to personality, history, etc. |
NO GOD MODDING | 7 | Do not control any other character apart from your own (i.e. making them say or do something in your post that they did not do in their own). Also, be respectful of the way they portray that character; do not pressure them to engage in plots that go against their preference of how they see their character act or think. NO META GAMING | 8 | Meta gaming refers to your character possessing knowledge about another that they have no possible way of knowing, and using it against them. This knowledge is usually information that the audience knows (i.e through their application, inner dialogue, etc) but not one that the character would know. We do not permit meta gaming on the forum as it can be very discouraging for other members. For more information about what Meta Gaming is, click HERE. |
AU PLOTS | 9 | We do have an AU (alternate universe) board. This is for threads that step outside the canon verse of the plot. This involves romantic relationships that are not canon, or 'What If' scenarios that could have changed the course of the plot. Further more, events that took place in the books but not the show, are also considered AUs if they greatly deviate from what occurred in the show. It is still expected that you remain consistent with your character despite the AU setting. |
AWAY NOTICE | 10 | If you are going to be away, you must post a notice. Furthermore, when posting an away notice then you must have a return date in that notice. If you are going to be absent for more than two weeks, please speak to a staff member. |
INACTIVE ACCOUNTS | 11 | If your account has not been signed into for over three weeks without an absence notice, then the character will be opened/archived. |
HAVE FUN! | 12 | Role Playing is a fun activity where we can delve into the minds of our favorite characters! The site is meant to be a place where we can all write and enjoy other member's writing as well! |
GRAPHICS USERNAME | 1 | The name of your username should be the name of your character or your alias. Please do not register with a username of a character that you do not intend to play (i.e. registering with Daphne if you do not intend to write as her). This is to avoid confusion. Once you are approved, you will have the opportunity to select a unique posting color that your username will be changed to.

FACECLAIM | 2 | Everyone must have a face claim for their character, represented by a real life celebrity. This means no anime or animated images permitted.
|
ICON | 3 | Your icon should be an image of the character you are playing. The maximum size permitted is 150 pixels x 150 pixels. This will also be the image that appears on the forum when you are online.
|
AVATAR | 4 | Your avatar is an image that should also be a picture or a gif of your character. The dimensions for this are 250 x 400 pixels.
|
SIGNATURE | 5 | Your signature/banner should be an image of the character you are playing. The maximum size permitted is a width of 600 pixels and a height of 300 pixels. This is to ensure that the board does not get stretched by an image that is too large.
|
CUSTOM TITLE | 6 | Your custom title can only be changed by the admin you will be permitted to choose it yourself once your application has been approved.
|
POSTING LAYOUTS | 7 | Some members have chosen to have posting layouts for their role play posts. This is not by any means mandatory for members to have! If you would like one, and need help customizing it, feel free to reach and we can help as best we can.

CREDITING GRAPHICS | 8 | If someone else has made your signature and/or avatar, you must add a line of credit stating the person who made it.
|
CHAT BOX CHAT CONTENT | 1 | The chat box is a great place to meet other members and even plan threads. With that said, please do not rant, complain, bash, or post negative messages of any kind. As well, do not pressure members to post, or pressure the admins to approve your bio. We also ask that you not post extremely personal information about you, as your private life is just that: private. Please keep in mind that this a public place to talk and thus, require that everyone feel comfortable with the conversation taking place in it.

DISCRETION | 2 | Any conversation between a member and the admin is private. Do not post it or talk about it in the CB. If there is something we need to discuss with you privately, we will do so VIA PM. We require that you not talk about these issues in a public place for all members to see.

ADVERTISING | 3 | Absolutely no advertising in the Chat Box! There is a board for you all to post links to other sites. Please do not post links to other forums or discuss other role play forums in detail.

IN CHARACTER CHAT | 4 | The IC [In Character] Chat Box is located at the bottom of the forum. This is a place to muse as your character and does not necessarily follow any specific plot. It is a great place for all sorts of in character fun and shenanigans.

OOC CHAT | 5 | The OOC [Out Of Character] Chat Box is located at the left hand side of the forum. This is a place to chat and meet other members. Forum rules still apply.

DISCORD
Violation of any of the above rules will result in a warning from staff members. Multiple warnings may result in being asked to leave the site. It is up to the Staff's discretion to do as we deem fit for we strive to keep this forum a safe, inclusive, positive and comfortable place for everyone!
