.:Physical Appearance:.
Strong build given the years that he spent in the Danish-Norwegian military fighting with the French during the Napoleonic Wars. He still has a rugged look about him, but when in a formal situation, he will be clean-shaven for the sake of respect toward himself and toward the individual that he is addressing, whether it be a fellow royal or a noble person.
.:Height:.
6"3
.:Portrayed by:.
Jannis Niewöhner

.:Personality:.
Stern, usually, given his past in the trenches. Fairly cantankerous at times as well as difficult to speak or compromise with, giving his father and uncle, the current King of Denmark, a sense of worry when he inherits the crown. He does have a tender side, as he is his mother's son. One just has to pluck it out of him and at the right time and place.
.:Skills:.
He is very skilled in archery and swordsmanship. Ever since he was a teenager, he was taught the art of sword fighting and defending one's self from an enemy's attack, especially considering the political climate that surrounded Europe at the time. Christian had always wanted to play a part in their kingdom's military and so, he made it his priority to do so. Christian is also fascinated by Astronomy, just like the current King of Denmark, and is well-versed in the stars.
.:Weaknesses:.
His main weakness is his temper and God forbid anyone that positions themselves before him if he's ever truly angry. Another weakness of his is his paranoia. Anything can set him off. There were times when he would sense that there was treason at court and this would lead him to warn his uncle, only to receive a laugh in return. Christian can also be somewhat jealous, especially when it comes to either lovers or his marriage partner.

Copenhagen, Denmark
.:Family:.
Fredrich VI of Denmark (King of Denmark) - Uncle Frederick, Hereditary Prince - Father Sophia Frederica of Mecklenburg-Schwerin - Mother Princess Juliane Sophie of Denmark - Sister Princess Charlotte of Denmark - Sister Frederick Ferdinand, Hereditary Prince of Denmark - Brother Frederik Carl Christian, Prince of Denmark - Son Duchess Charlotte Frederica of Mecklenburg-Schwerin - Former Wife
.:Occupation:.
Prince of Denmark
.:History:.
Prince Christian Frederick of Denmark was the firstborn son of Fredrick and Sophia Frederica. He was a marvel to look at the moment he left his mother's womb, as his father held him up underneath the morning light, offering him praise and a promise to name him the next king. The second that had been mentioned, the prince's ego grew larger than the nation he was he was destined to rule one day.
He had always been the leader type, especially when it came to his younger siblings. Very overprotective over his sisters, particularly his youngest one, keeping an eye out for her, especially if some sort of scandal surrounded her name. Though if scandal were to touch any of his siblings, he would swear to have it removed to protect not only them but the royal family's reputation, as well.
His marriage to Charlotte Frederica of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, his cousin from his mother's side, lasted only a few years. There were difficulties, part of it being his overwhelming jealousy toward her, especially at the lavish parties that she hosted. When she requested more funding, despite the ample amount the crown offered her, an irregular fight would break out before their servants. Christian believed that he truly did love her, yet could not tolerate the way that she acted, terming her "self-centred" and a "holy terror" only a few days before their official separation. Since their marriage ended, Charlotte Frederica left Denmark and their sole child, Frederick VII of Denmark, remained with his father with the occasional visit to and by his mother. Since the Napoleonic Wars came to an end, the young prince had urged his uncle, who he every so often advises, to rectify their ties with the English isles so that Denmark can have its peace. Christian is somewhat of an unofficial diplomat between the two nations, visiting British royalty and nobility many times during the year and enjoying his time there.

but some battles leave
no victor, only a trail of
broken hearts that makes us
wonder if the price we pay
