.:Name:. Alfred Brimsley
.:Nick Name:. Just Brimsley
.:Rank:. Commoner
.:Age:. Nearing sixty (we shan't say more than that)
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. A round, well-groomed figure who dresses to impress but also remains in the same outfit every day -- a pair of beige trousers accompanied by a vest, a white buttoned shirt, and a bordeaux sash over his coat. He maintains a tidy hairdo and a clean-shaved face at all times to present the monarchy in the best way he can.
.:Height:. 5"6
.:Portrayed by:. Hugh Sachs
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Very much a protective soul with a warm heart toward those who wish well upon those he serves. He is very loyal to the queen, in particular, who he fully respects and would never say a word against her. He is rather serious at most times and does not tolerate dilly-dallying. Not easy to make friends with, unfortunately, due to his low levels of tolerance and trust.
.:Skills:. Brimsley is very attentive to detail and would notice nearly everything. He is also very talented when it comes to leadership, being in his post for a lengthy period, and overseeing everything whenever there is a royal event. Brimsley is also skilled in haggling and would fight to win what he wishes to attain -- whether it be information or other matters.
.:Weaknesses:. He has excessive pride which people notice and unfortunately, may affect his appearance in public. It also explains his lack of proper friendships. Brimsley can be vain, as well, but this particular negative trait only formed after he became the queen's right hand. Power played with his mind.

.:Birthplace:. Castle Combe, Wiltshire
.:Family:.
Jonathan Brimsley - Father - Deceased Mariana Brimsley - Mother - Deceased
.:Occupation:. Queen's right-hand man
.:History:.
Brimsley was born to a commoner family in the heart of Wiltshire. They were not well off, but they were not terribly poor either. His father owned a shop in the area and his mother remained at home, where the young boy would help with her any tasks that he could get his hands on. He truly loved his mother with every ounce of his blood, yet he and his father barely spoke nor had a connection.
Growing up and nearing his early adulthood, he had qualms with his father and even mother at times. They accused him of preferring the opposite sex due to his inability to find a wife. Brimsley would blame it on his appearance rather than his orientation, which was another possible cause. This led to a series of arguments and he ended up packing his belongings and taking leave for London for more opportunities.
Brimsley was educated at home and aware that he had skills when it came to careers such as butlery, he remained at his friend's home in Soho until he was able to procure a job for himself. The ambitious young man applied as a footman in many households and even St James' Palace, where he doubted he would receive even an interview.
He was wrong.
Due to his education and skills that he proved during his examination, he began as a footman for the royal family. Brimsley served not only King George III, but his son as well, becoming personal valet to him. Eventually, Brimsley became steward and upon hearing of the King's difficulties, he grew closer to the Queen, supporting her in every way he could find. He was drawn to her and the aura she offered a room. As the years went on and the king's disorder did not subside, he cherished Queen Charlotte further, revering her strength through it all.
He would ruin anyone who dared touch her.

but some battles leave
no victor, only a trail of
broken hearts that makes us
wonder if the price we pay
is ever worth the fight."
