Random number generator selected... 7. after a bar fight
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Anthony was at White's, currently enjoying one of the rare moments of socialization and ease. While it was a business meeting that brought him here, good company and a few drinks had him remain. That is, until a man rushed into White's, informing the Viscount of news. "Lord Bridgerton! Your brother is involved in a fight!" The man was practically out of breath, though at the moment, Anthony's concern trumped his gratitude towards the messenger. He immediately rose to his feet and instead of asking which brother, asked which bar. Grabbing his coat he hastily made his way out of the gentleman's club and straight towards the bar. Fortunately, it was not too far and as he pushed through the crowd to get instead, his eyes scanned the crowd to look for either Colin or Benedict.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ He supposed it was not unlikely for either of them to be involved. He doubted they may have started it, but they could easily have been a part of of it . . . or just got caught within the chaos. But such questions were unimportant until Anthony was rest assured that his brother was alright. After what felt like an eternity of panic and worry -- though in actuality was a mere few seconds -- Anthony's gaze rested on Colin. He rushed to his side, his eyes scanning over Colin to see if he had sustained any injuries. That would be the first order of business. The next, would be to see the men who caused this, pay for their actions. "Good God, man. What happened?" He asked, his voice steady but holding evident concern for his younger brother.

colin & anthony. Their mother would have questions about his black eye and split lip in the morning – but he'd cling onto the fact that none of this was his fault. None of it had ever been his fault, he'd simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and while he wasn't entirely sure if the family would believe that, he was quite certain it was true. He hadn't even known the man who through the first punch, but after a few blows, he'd attempted to fight back...albeit, not well. While either of his brothers likely could handle themselves in a fight, he was better at dodging out of the way than he was at actually throwing the punches. He'd gotten one lucky punch in, but it had been that blow that led to the black eye – the rather large man who'd decided he deserved to be part of the beating had clearly taken that rather personally. At least it seemed like the fight had broken up for the time being, and the sight of Anthony was a welcomed one – so long as things didn't kick off again, for he didn't want to see him hurt because of this. "Nothing," he muttered, reaching up to touch his face. "He got in a lucky punch. I am quite well, brother. How did you know I'd be here?"
