He could not help but occasionally step on his tip-toes to get a glance of what was being written about the ton, however, he maintained his composure every time the queen even moved an inch. "Anything new, Your Majesty?" He asked her, a little bit of excitement evident in his voice for he lived for this sort of gossip. Brimsley even contributed to it sometimes - nothing to do with his queen, of course. She was off limits. His admiration for Charlotte grew as every day went by, in fact, and he would never slander her name and whoever else did would receive his utmost disapproval. |
