.:Physical Appearance:. It is not hard upon seeing Daphne that she is in fact a Bridgerton. Her fair skin and dark eyes enchant even the stuffiest of people. She stands at only 5'5 ( thankfully still not the shortest of all the Bridgertons). Her build is average if not balittle bit skinner than most. Her hair is a shade of auburn, very light shades of blond and red. It sits halfway down her back in waves but is usually seen up by most people. She has very short bangs which are usually either to the side of her face or curled in the front.</br></br>



Daphne's style is very feminine and classy looking. Her dresses are always empire style and flow to hit the ground ever so lightly so she almost floats as she walks. As for colors she prefers to stick to lighter colors to match her fair skin and lightly colored hair. There is usually always some sort of embellishment or sparkle added to her dresses to give it that something extra and to draw attention.

.:Personality:. Daphne has always been a poised and proper young lady, well as much as is allowed. She is very strong willed and likes to get her way, no matter how she has to get it. She has always tried to be a nuturer of sort to her younger siblings and sometimes even the older ones as well. She can be a bit naive depending on the subject or topic. She is extremely family oriented tries to be someone that people can feel comfortable discussing their problems and woes. She is a charming yyoung lady with a good heart and quick witted brain.

.:Weaknesses:. Unfortunately as mentioned Daphne can be a bit naive. She can also be rather pushy when trying to do what she thinks is best for someone. Daphne can also be quite meddlesome especially in her family life. She isn't afraid to push for details and get the truth even if it can be taken as annoying sometimes.

Being the eldest female of the Bridgerton family she took on a role of nuturer and also doing everything she could to be someone that her younger siblings could admire and look up to. IT wasn't always easy with so much pressure being put on her shoulders but she would do absolutely anything to help her family so perfection was the only option it seemed.</br></br>



With the death of her father it took a toll on the whole family and Daphne was put into a mothering role for the time being while her mother healed. It was difficult to ask her brothers to take on that considering nuturing was always done with a woman's touch. Even after the birth of Hyacinth she continued on her role of listening to her siblings and assisting her mother in any way she could. IT was alot of pressure at such a young age but her family was the most important to her and she could not bare to let them down, or have them be disappointed with her.



As her social season arrived there was alot of pressure put on, mostly put on by herself. Being declared the diamond of the season was something she had been working towards her whole life. She knew it would open so many doors for suitors and at first that was excactly what she got. Until a unforunate untanglement with Nigel Berbrooke caused severe distress. Daphne was far more intelligent than to end up with a man such as Berbrooke.</br></br>



A plan was hatched, a less unfortunate entanglement with Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings. To the outside eye it was almost a perfect match, inside it was a game the two enjoyed playing. Daphne enjoyed the game far too much and it seemed as though her heart was getting played as well. She didn't mean to fall for him but the more time she spent with Simon the more she could not help herself from falling in love with him.</br></br>



There were other suitors slowly coming her way, a prince even offering himself to her. However Daphne could not get away from the grasp the Duke had around her heart. Daphne's heart was broken in knowing this arrangement would be just that and nothing more. Until she caught wind of a Ms. Cressida Cowper spotting a scene that Daphne had tried to ignore. A moment of weakness and passion with Simon which she knew would ruin her chances of any marriage proposal if it were to get out.</br></br>



With that information she went to Simon to ask for him to marry her, at the last moment during a duel nonetheless. He refused her but Daphne being stubborn and strong headed did not take no for an answer. After their marriage appeal was denied by the queen, probably upset for Daphne declining Prince Frederick of Prussia. The two of them got an audience with her majesty to convince her this marriage was real and true...with that the marriage was accepted.</br></br>



The two were married and even though it was hard to get true feelings out in the open once they were the two could not be separated. They spent all the time they could with one another. It feels as though she is on a cloud of honeymoon bliss and won't be taken down by anyone.
