.:Physical Appearance:. Anthony takes pride in his appearance, aware that it is a representation of the Bridgerton name. He wears well tailored and expensive clothing, often appearing prim, proper, and well put together. He has an athletic build, light coloured skin, and brown hair. He is often clean shaven, however has sideburns on either side of his face as it is a sign of status.

.:Personality:. Anthony is indeed a gentleman; considering himself as one as evident by his mannerisms, etiquette, speech, high regard for honor, and so on. He has an incredibly strong presence about him, often displaying a natural charisma and charm. He is also well respected in the ton, though may also be considered a rake. However, as well put together as Anthony appears, this is just on the surface. Internally, he is often struggling. He has difficulty dealing with his emotions and they often manifest in a . . . not so productive or healthy way. He takes his role and authority as Viscount and eldest son, very seriously -- perhaps a little too seriously and tries to project the confident exterior that he knows what is best for his family. Despite them telling him otherwise. He is slowly learning but often struggles with trying to be the 'head' of the household, whilst keeping his family's best interest at heart. 

Speaking of family, it means everything to Anthony. He is fiercely protective of them and will do anything and everything to protect those he cares about and their honor. Whether its insulting another, challenging one to a duel, or getting into physical altercations. Anthony believes it his duty to protect them and the Bridgerton name. That being said, Anthony can be indeed quick tempered and hot headed. His greatest trigger being those who insult or compromise a Bridgerton or those he holds most dear to his heart. 

He is intelligent, well educated, and highly versed in politics as well as others . . . perhaps overly well versed. He often knows the business of other people in the ton and will not overlook a misdeed from another . . . particularly those who wish to wed one of his siblings. He is charming, but does not smile as often as the rest of his siblings. He tries to separate heart from head, conflicted with which to use to guide and direct him. It causes him to be wary of others, not letting many people in nor trust others easily. But those that he does, he allows himself to soften and show vulnerability, though it is taking time for him to humble himself and admit when he is wrong.

Anthony inwardly struggles with the pressures and expectations he is faced with, fearful of not making his father and family proud. He also has an intense fear of dying at a young age like his father . . . the pain of his loss not yet eased in Anthony. Anthony feels the pressures and burdens of societal norms, particularly where it conflicts with what his heart desires. While he is a man of emotion, he is on the path to learn how to cope with them and to convey them in a healthy way towards others and himself.

.:History:. Anthony was the first born son of a wealthy, noble family. His family would eventually result in a total of 8 children, and from an early age, Edmund was groomed with the expectation that he would one day be the head of the family. What he -- and no one else anticipated -- was that that day would come so soon. At the age of 18, his father died, placing Anthony in the role of Viscount and head of the Bridgerton family. Anthony embraced this role, taking it seriously and ensuring he would do all that he could to make his father proud. The reality was however, that inwardly, Anthony felt . . . lost. Uncertain.

Still grieving for his father and unsure how to take on this role. Nevertheless, faced without a choice he did -- and does -- all that he can to secure a good, solid future for his siblings. His mother and he often disagreed, and continue to, on certain subjects but as Anthony grows older and matures, he is learning to relinquish some of that control so that his family may not only have a secure future . . . but a happy one.
