 | BACKGROUND Jeremy was born as the sole son of the Earl of Westmoreland. He, along with his two younger sisters, were raised in a household where appearances mattered, and his parents sought to groom their children into the perfect Gentleman and Ladies. Jeremy struggled to mold into his parent's idea of a perfect son and his behavior often deviated from that of social norm and expectation. His father has threatened to disown him multiple times unless he marries and properly settles in the life of an heir. In the meanwhile, Jeremy is a successful writer using the alias Elias Knight; having several published literary works. [break] [break] PERSONALITY Jeremy is not that of a typical gentleman. He has an eccentric personality, engaging in dramatics and histrionics at times. He struggles to effectively express his thoughts and emotions, and instead, his expressions and mannerisms reveal as much, whether intended or not. He struggles to control such reactions with a scoff here, an eye roll there and even an exasperated sigh. He also finds large crowds challenging, causing him a great deal of stress when having to engage in them. His state of mind can fluctuate, particularly when faced with writers block in which case he spirals. In this state, he does not sleep for days, he is disorganized, disheveled, and practically manic. There are other times, where he can not even get out of bed. [note: I imagine that the above conditions could be comparable to anxiety -- including social anxiety -- and tendencies that may suggest border line depression] Despite all this, Jeremy does have a good heart and good intentions, displaying a caring nature towards others and holds his friends near and dear to his heart. [break] [break] PLOTTAGE You can currently find Jeremy in London for the new season, whether its at a social event, around town, or even frequenting Henry Granville's parties. He also has a small cabin in the country where he enjoys being alone, and his own estate nearby. In regards to plots, I'm totally open! Whether its building dynamics as friends, family, lovers, or enemies! I do adore AUs as much as canon plots so am definitely up for anything and everything!
