.:Physical Appearance:. Tall with broad shoulders and a proud posture. Alvanley is known for his handsome piercing blue eyes and his sharp face structure. A true danty by all accounts, he always dresses in the most latest of fashions yet keeping a sensible approach so he shall not appear ridiculous. He keeps his hair short, clean shaven apart from his medium length sideburns on either side of his face.

.:Personality:.  Raised with a good family name and a very strict father, Alvanley is known for his impeccable manners and decoroum… that an a sizable fortune that has him deemed as a sought out bachelor. A very agreeable young man, he had always been polite and good humored. Charming, clever and some could say a bit of a womanizer Edward had always been an interesting fellow to drink a glass of port with.

The truth is that Alvanley is not a bad man, no. He simply has high expectations, expectations that keep him from finding a good match for himself (and a list of requirements at that) so in the proccess he hurts the expectatations of young Ladies who were sure they had secured a place in his heart. So yes, we should persume that he is quite stubborn and standoffish.  Some, if not most, would deem him as arrogant and selfish with no real care for other's feelings but that is only a fragment of his real character. 

Alvanley has a true sense of fellowship and duty embedded deep inside of him. If you are his friend he will never ever do anything to harm or endanger you in any way. In fact he is adament in protecting those he holds in high esteem, such as his close friends and family. Edward has traveled a lot and thus he is a little more worldly than the gentlemen stuck at the gentleman's club for the majority of their adult lives.

A son of duty, a son proud of his heritage, an honorable future Baron, an obedient son.



He remembers his childhood days running up and down the main staircase of their home, dark brown curls flapping in the air as he made his way out of the door and onto the garden. Edward always liked his father's horses and as a little boy he frequently escaped from his tutor and hid in the stables; something that was quickly uncovered and Edward got punished for. Some would say that he was pressuring Edward a little too much in his teenage years, but Edward never saw it that way. He wanted his father to be proud of him.

Not that he managed to do that and it still haunts him that he never managed to give him the pleasure of seeing him married while he was still alive.

Now he finds himself seeking a wife once more, one that would fit his list of requirements. A very, very particular list of requirments… though rumor has it he is about to meet his match.
