Francesca's Wicked Wanted List!
It's hard to completely disregard these two cousins because they make Frannie's
life so, so tragic!
I'll be adding more details about them while I explore Francesca's story, but
you're more than welcome to put in your own twist to them!
Since we don't have an official casting for the Stirlings, Ben Barnes has been who I think of as Michael
when reading Francesca'sMichael's story (highlight on the book description: he had midnight black hair),
particularly the gifs I used just captures his tortured soul (& with a face like that it's not a surprise
he was a rake!!)
And Fabien Frankel as John - well with that matching slick black hair (and puppy dog eyes),
how could I not?!
Buuuut since the Stirlings aren't in the show yet - the fcs below does not
have to be set in stone if you choose to play one of them(or both)!

Michael Stirling is John's, Francesca's husband (1817 -1820), cousin. He is only a year older than John, and so they very close. Like brother's even. And when John married Francesca, the three of them were inseparable. Francesca enjoyed Michael's companionship, and he returned those sentiments (for completely different reasons)! Nevertheless, Michael never dared act on it, as he thought that is an unforgivable type of betrayal that he did not want to inflict on John. Not John, especially not John. And so he kept his feelings inside, and he was pretty good at that too. After John's death, he could not bare the grief of losing his one and only brother, but also face his love for Francesca that grew ever stronger. He moved to India for 4 years, before returning to London. Seeing Francesca was the last thing he wanted to see and yet, it was the first...
John is Francesca's husband, who was the son of the 7th Earl of Kilmartin. His father had a twin brother, a mere 7 minutes older than him,much to Michael's resentment at times though he wasn't even alive at that point. John was a kind gentleman, who had the same sense of humour as Francesca. They married for love, not for duty. Francesca adored John, it was absolutely impossible for her to not love him. He was the only person in the world that was only hers.
