------The Bridgerton family is hosting a grand event at Aubrey Hall, their country estate in Kent! It is a week long event full of activities and fun. Guests will have their accommodations in the estate, equipped with their own room for the duration of the stay (siblings may have to share a room, depending on how many people are in attendance).

------While these events are often hosted by Violet in the hopes of finding a spouse for her children of age, this time, all are invited to join in the fun! This event is the talk of the ton and you certainly will not want to miss out on all the fun, games and of course... potential scandal that events such as these inevitably expose.

DAY 1

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]WELCOMING BANQUET: A chance for everyone to mingle amongst each other as the morning and afternoon is spent settling in, and the evening is a grand banquet dinner.[/li] [/ul]

DAY 2

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]EXPLORING: A relaxing day where everyone can have a chance to explore the area; some may wish to go shopping, others may wish to go on hikes, and some may wish to just have a stroll in the garden or relax within the estate.[/li]

[li style="text-align:justify;"]BALL: A grand ball in the evening full of dance, drink, and hopefully good company.[/li] [/ul]

DAY 3

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]HUNTING COMPETITION: The men start early in the morning and it goes well into the afternoon as they engage in a friendly hunting competition.[/li]

[li style="text-align:justify;"]LADIES LUNCHEON: The women are having a ladies lunch where they can get dressed up, for there is even a fashion contest to see who is sporting the best and latest fashions of London.[/li] [/ul]

DAY 4

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]PALL MALL: A game, or perhaps games, of Pall Mall where men and women are playing together... just imagine the drama and fun that could ensue in this 'friendly' game.[/li]

[li style="text-align:justify;"]DANCE NIGHT: For those who enjoy dancing or watching others dance, they will; want to be in attendance of this evening activity. [/li] [/ul]

DAY 5

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]EXPLORING II: Another relaxing day where everyone can break off into their own desired groups to explore Kent.[/li]

[li style="text-align:justify;"]INTO THE NIGHT: The men decide that they would like a gentlemen's evening to drink, play cards, gamble, etc. They assume the women will be simply conversing or asleep. The women however, have other plans. They organize an 'underground' ladies night where they intend to play cards, gamble, and have some fun of their own![/li] [/ul]

DAY 6

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]FENCING TOURNAMENT: A day of fencing with many rounds and matches until there is only one man left standing. Those who are not participating are welcome to watch.[/li]

EMBROIDERY CONTEST: The women can have a little competition of their own to see who can create the more intricate, detailed and fabulous design and see who's needlework is among the best.

DAY 7

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]HORSEBACK RIDE: Starting at first light, an organized group of those who would like to explore the countryside on horseback in a tour led by the Bridgertons.[/li]

[li style="text-align:justify;"]CLOSING BALL: A final, grand and extravagant ball to close out the week long event.[/li] [/ul]

DAY 8

[/span][/div][li style="text-align:justify;"]ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END: The day is spent at ease, as it is the last day for many at Aubrey Hall. Conversing among friends, or otherwise, and making preparations to leave.[/li]

[li style="text-align:justify;"]SECRET WAGES: Some of the women had small wagers and a betting pool of their own including which ladies or men would come out engaged, married, or even compromised after this event. Best to cash in before everyone goes their separate ways, or they get caught.[/li][/ul]

Which means that all are welcome to attend, inclusive of characters that we have not yet seen in the series.[/li][li style="text-align:justify;"]Because this event is AU, that also means that you can play around with timelines and such to best accommodate your character in this setting.[/li][li style="text-align:justify;"]This thread may be changed to include updates as the events play out.[/li][li style="text-align:justify;"]Feel free to respond to this post to let everyone know if you intend for your character to attend, which events/activities they will be participating in, etc.[/li][/ul]

[Anthony Bridgerton]

Anthony would like it to be known that he will be hiding his lucky black Mallet [aka The Mallet of Death] so that no one else can use it! He most likely will not participate in many of the tournaments because -- according to him -- it is in bad taste for the host to play and win. Yes, this is Anthony's arrogance. So instead, he will help by mediating, being a judge, and 'refereeing' of sorts! He is also willing to teach anyone who would like to learn the basics of any of these games, i.e. Pall Mall, etc. He will also, offer to take others on tours of the estate or Kent, partake in the horseback ride and of course, participate in all balls and other activities!

[Benedict Bridgerton]

Benedict will probably spend most of the time subtly dodging eager Mamas and young ladies seeking to find a husband! Therefore, Benedict will be escaping on many a hikes, and -- like Anthony -- is offering to take others on tours of Kent, throughout the Estate, and so on! He's willing to help his brother referee and teach those who wish to learn various activities. Benedict really is just going to try to make himself as scarce as a host probably can be when it comes to grand events and competitive games even though he will of course have to be present during the different events throughout the week. There are after all, advantages of being the second son!

[Ezra Huntington]

Hunt will be at the event! Perhaps he and a couple others Bow Street Runners were hired to ensure all is safe and well throughout the week, so I imagine he would be there to 'work' and of course in doing so, attend all social activities. Though he will not directly participate in the games, he will be around to do his job!

[Reuben Slade]

Slade will be attending the week long event! However, due to his physical limitations, will not be able to partake in some of the events (fencing tournament, dancing, etc). He will still attend, spectate, converse, observe, and engage with others -- in his oh so typical way. He will be bringing a handful of his close friends/bodyguards, considered to be part of his household staff. There is also a possibility that he will be bringing a certain four legged friend . . .

[Bellamy Talbot]

Much to Bellamy's nerves! He will be attending the event! He won't be very good at the different competitions, others often displaying understanding since he is still 'recovering' -- and since Lydia and Gerard will be attending, they will not pass the chance to remind others if he is in fact doing something . . . uncharacteristic of a nobleman! So yes! Bellamy will be there, helping the staff when he can -- even though he shouldn't -- and will do his best to blend into this, elite crowd!

THE QUEEN will be gracing the event with her presence but selectively. She will attend a few events but remain at her nearby estate as she prefers the comfort of her own space.
