Profile Tabs As you can see, each member/character account has 3 profile tabs! Here's your guide to understanding each tab and what goes in each spot. To access these sections, you first have to go to your PROFILE >> EDIT PROFILE >> PERSONAL.

250x400 AVATAR: This section contains an image that is 250 pixels x 400 pixels. Images that do not fit this exact dimension will be automatically resized, and therefore may be distorted. Pictures or gifs used in this area are typically those of the character that you are role playing in that account. To insert your image, all you need to do is put the image URL into the text field. Do NOT enter it with IMG tags as the image will not work. If you need help resizing an image, feel free to contact us and we can assist you with this.

PERSONAL TEXT: this text field is for you to insert a quote from the character you are role playing, or a line of text (i.e expression, lyric, etc) that fits them. While there is no limit, it is strongly recommended to keep it to a couple of lines because otherwise, it will overflow and cover the other profile sections in that tab.
RANK: this text field is for you to input your character's status/rank, so whether they are Royalty, Nobility, etc. You can also add any specific titles for your character here.
OCCUPATION: this text field is for you to input your character's occupation. If they don't have any you can either leave it blank, or put none. It is entirely up to your own creativity.
APPLICATION: this text field is for you to put in the the URL to your character's application once it is approved. Once you put in the link, a button titled "BIO" will automatically appear and whenever anyone clicks it, they will be directly linked to your character's application posting in the Approved Applications board.
PLOTTER: this text field is for you to put in the the URL to your character's plotter if you have posted one. Once you put in the link, a button titled "PLOTTER" will automatically appear and whenever anyone clicks it, they will be directly linked to your character's plotter in the Setting On Your Path board.
WANTEDS: this text field is for you to put in the the URL to your character's Wanted Ads if you have posted one. Once you put in the link, a button titled "WANTEDS" will automatically appear and whenever anyone clicks it, they will be directly linked to your character's Wanted Ad in the Wanted Ads board. Please remember that you can only put in one link, so if you have multiple threads with Wanted Ads posted, then you may have to select only one to post.

ALIAS: this text field is for you to put in your name/alias on the site. It is not your character's name, but rather, the name that you as the Mun/Member would like to be referred to. It is typically the same name/alias that you submitted for the Who's Who thread. This allows other members to recognize who plays which characters when looking at their account.
PRONOUNS: this text field is for you to put in your pronouns (i.e. she/her, they/them, he/him, etc). This will allow members to know which pronouns to use when referring to another on the site. While these pronouns are typically for the actual member, some people prefer to make the pronouns related to their character instead. It is entirely up to what you are most comfortable with.
Be sure to click SAVE PERSONAL SETTINGS to save all your profile changes!
NOTE: None of these fields are mandatory to fill in. If you do not put anything in them, then they will not show up on your profile. We do of course recommend filling out as much as you can to jazz up your profile! So feel free to be as creative as you'd like!

Bookmark Threads Bookmarking threads is a great way to keep track of them and be notified when there's a new post! Here's a how to guide to help you use this feature!
STEP 1: Once you open a thread, you will see a drop down menu titled Actions. Click this, and then click Bookmark.
STEP 2: Once you've bookmarked a thread, a new button titled Bookmarks will appear at the top of the forum where the navigation area is. It can be found after Profile and before Messages.
STEP 3: Once you click Bookmarks, you will be taken to a page where all the threads you have bookmarked are listed. Each time someone posts in one of your bookmarked threads, you will receive a profile notification. You can bookmark as many threads as you like, and can unbookmark threads anytime, following the same step as bookmarking it.

Spoiler Tag Ever read over something and then get accidentally spoilered?! Well, here is a great way to avoid that! For those posting spoilers, apart from stating as such in your thread title or description, here is an extra step to really ensure that only those who want to be spoilered will read it!
You may have noticed an emoji on the posting page that looks like this: 
Once you click it, a window will appear with 2 text fields: Spoiler & Spoiler Body.
Spoiler: You can enter the title or heading for your spoiler (i.e click here, check out this s2 spoiler, read the book spoiler by clicking, etc.
Spoiler Body: You can enter the details of your spoiler.
Once you post it, the member must click the Spoiler in order to see the Spoiler Body! Please keep in mind, that when you preview your post, the spoiler tag will not work, however when you actually make the post, it will be in effect.
This does not only have to be used for spoilers! You are welcome to use this feature as far as your creativity goes! Have fun with it and enjoy the shenanigans that could ensue with it!

Roleplay Dictionary New to role playing? Well, here are some frequently used terms to help familiarize you with rp lingo! It will be frequently updated. If you have any to add, please send the admin a PM and it will be added in.
- AU: stands for Alternate Universe and it is where plots that step outside of the canon verse take place. For example: a modern plot where characters are in the 21st century, or a plot where Daphne ends up marrying Nigel, etc.
- Avatar: refers to the image on the left hand side of your post where you can place an image/gif of the character you are role playing; the dimensions are 250 pixels x 400 pixels.
- Canon: refers to the original source material for a role play. For instance: canon characters are characters from the show (i.e. Simon, Daphne, Penelope, etc), or canon plots are events that took place in the show.
- Face Claim: refers to the model/celebrity used to portray your character. For example: the Face Claim for Eloise Bridgerton is Claudia Jessie. For Made Up Characters, you are permitted to choose which celebrity you would like to represent your character.
- God-mod: refers to when a role player powerplays, or controls another character in their post without that player's consent. It is not permitted on the site.
- IC: stands for In Character and are posts or areas for the character to talk, not the role player.
- Icon: refers to the image that appears next to the thread that you started viewable in a board, as well as the image that appears at the bottom of the forum's home page when you are online. It is typically an image/gif of the character you are role playing and it's dimensions are a maximum of 150 pixels by 150 pixels.
- Mun: refers to the writer for the character; the person who writes for the muse.
- Muse: refers to the character that the writer role plays/writes for.
- NPC: stands for Non Player-Character and is a character created by the role player, administrator that is not being actively played nor open for applications.
- OC: stands for Original Character. These are characters who are entirely made up by the role player, and do not appear in the show. The member is able to make up all details (i.e. name, face claim, personality, rank, family, etc) so long as it fits into the realm of Bridgerton.
- One-Liner: refers to posts that consist of one or two lines. They are typically not permitted in role play threads, but however are acceptable for meme responses, out of character chat, and so on.
- OOC: stands for Out of Character and are posts or areas for the role player to talk, not the character they are writing for.
- Posting Template: refers to a form of role paly graphic, usually coded in HTML and CSS, that you can customize to jazz up your character posts. It can usually be customizable to include different colors, images, fonts, etc. Pre-made templates can be found on resource sites.
- RP: is a shortened term for 'role play'.
- Signature: refers to the area beneath each of your posts where you can place an image, gif, quote, etc related to the character you are role playing.
- Thread: a collection of posts that involve 2 or more role players; consists of an opening post and subsequent replies.

Modern Character Bios
What If ... everyone was in the modern verse?
In this board, you can post a mini bio about your character in the 21st century so that they can join in the modern AU plot! You can set up the bio however you like (i.e. use your own template, use the one from the site, etc)! Here are just a few things that you can include to help give other role players and idea of your character and the adaptations made to them to fit into the 21st Century:
- Your character's place of birth and/or residence
- Your character's upbringing
- Your character's skills
- Your character's occupation
- Your character's relationships
- Your character's hobbies and interests
- Anything else!
Please keep in mind, that site rules still apply in this modern AU plot (i.e. no godmodding, writing in third person, etc)!

What If ... everyone was in the modern verse?
What if all the characters from the show, were functioning as regular citizens in the 21st Century! What careers do they have, if any? Are they students? What kinds of relationships do they have? The possibilities are endless!
Since this is an AU plot, characters who are otherwise deceased, may join! We will also be having events within this plot where everyone can participate!

Information on Member/Character Achievements
What are Member/Character achievements? This is a great way to celebrate different accomplishments on the site! Whether it be post count, thread content, OOC goodness, and so on!
How does this work? First thing you need is an Achievements page! In this board, create a thread titled "YOURCHARACTER'SNAME Achievements". The second step would be to check out the below masterlist of Achievements and see which ones apply to you! Third step, copy paste and fill out the form at the bottom and PM it to us! We will reply back with the image badges for the achievement. You can then edit it into your achievement page yourself! Please DO NOT add in any badges that you did not receive directly from us!
The pages should be set up for each character. If there are member based badges that you have earned (i.e. made a graphic on the site) then you can include that earned badge in each character page. For achievements like "has ____ number of threads" it has to be as the same character. Everything except the achievements for made a graphic and made a graphic for another member, are character specific achievements.
The more badges you earn, the more you can add! This is just something fun to work towards and a way to see all that you have accomplished on the site! As well, if you have reached over 1000 posts, then all the post achievements before then can also be added to your page.
Note: Any achievement with a * means that we require a link to the post/thread!

- Details: By Heat Of The Moment, we mean a time where your character is so angry or enraged. What do they do when they're upset? What happens when they snap out of anger? Was there one particular situation that differed from another? You can explore the prompt in all different ways as it is open to your own preference and creativity.
- Post Limit: You can do more than one post in this thread, including more as the same character, or a different post for a different character you have. There is no limit to how many you can do, or for how many characters.
- Narrative/POV: You can either write in First Person (I, me, my, etc) or Third Person (he, she, they, etc).
