❝ Just Because Something Is Not Perfect... Does Not Make It Any Less Worthy Of Love❞
The journey to London and back to Clyvedon Castle was one that Daphne was quickly growing accustomed to. Most of her duties kept her at the castle, her place and family was there. She loved them dearly. She found a new depth of love gratitude for her life every time she looked at her son, seen him smile as he took in the world. As young as he may be. He was growing quickly, far to fast. Daphne wished time would stop, as the day would come when he would be fully grown.
She watched him tenderly as he slept in her arms, as she travelled back to London. Rose, and Mary, Augie’s nanny accompanied her back to Mayfair. Either time sped up when Daphne simply gazed at her son, because the journey which certainly took the better part of the day, seemed to take no time at all. She peered out the windows of the carriage to hear them pulling up outside the Bridgerton Estate, the lavender in full bloom and fragrant in the air.
Mary smiled toward the duchess and Daphne handed her son over gently. Assuring he still slept before slipped out of the carriage, grasping the hand of the footmen to steady her as she descended the carriage steps to the ground. Rose and Mary in tow she walked up toward her family estate. Once inside in the grand foyer, she heard the ruckus from the drawing room, Hyacinth and Gregory no doubt driving their mother up the wall with their mischief.
As she entered the noise quieted and she smiled at her family, ” Good afternoon…” Daphne smiled at them all as Hyacinth and Gregory came to a stop in order to greet their eldest sister.

life is sweetfrancesca & Daphne
✿ Francesca Bridgerton ✿ Though Fancesca had grown fond of her independence from her time in Bath, it would be a dishonesty to say she did not miss home. Every night she would think of one thing she missed, as though in fear that if she didn't ... she would forget. She would recount to herself all the things she missed doing with her siblings and that would keep her occupied for all the nights she spent in Bath.
While there were many things that she missed, there was were also things she did not. And she knew for certain at this very moment, that she did not miss the rowdiness of it all. One can only speculate, how on earth Gregory and Hyacinth have so much energy -- still? Or perhaps it was Francesca, who was feeling rather sensitive today...
... she would rather not explore this possibility any further, it is most certainly Gregory & Hyacinth who are being unusually iritating today!
And so when her ears were met with silence, she quickly opened her eyes half-expecting one of her siblings to cry soon after (as such would always happen when ruckus was followed by a deafening silence) after closing them as an effort to drown out all the noise. Much to her surprise, what she saw first was her sister Daphne, greeting them with her familiar warm smile. Francesca couldn't help but respond with a wide smile of her own, embracing this sudden change of atmosphere with open arms -- it was as if the heavens heard her prayers!
"Daphne ... I didn't know you were coming!" She quickly stood and walked over to the other Bridgerton, reaching out for her arm. Once Francesca reached her sister's arm, she squeezed it gently, " .. Gregory and Hyacinth ... they have been driving me mad and I need you to rescue me from this madness! I hope you brought Auggie here to play with me."
