Discord

Hello, so! Several of us were chatting about the possibility of making a Discord server. This will be a place to voice your opinions on that suggestion. All opinions are welcome: you're free to say that you don't like Discord and would not be interested in joining, just as much as you're free to say that you are interested and would like to suggest channels on that server. I'll keep up a list of categories and channels in this post as people suggest them. If we all come to a consensus that we want a Discord and are satisfied with the list, we can make a server for the board.

HEYY! Thanks for posting this Iris!! OK SO, here are a few thoughts I have about discord!

I do think it's a great idea if people enjoy chatting on discord and I know that most boards have a discord channel! My ONLY thing is that, if we do a Discord, and not everyone is on it . . . that we still make an effort to chat in the Chat Box too!! And this is just something I wanted to check in with everyone!

For me, I have nooo problem chatting in multiple places hahah! I just don't want anyone to feel left out for those who don't have discord! I guess my main thing is that . . . Discord not replace the CB! It also helps for guests who pop in and don't immediately go to discord, and it helps to have an active CB! I'm not sure what everyone's thoughts are on that ??

The Organization looks good! Just a few suggestions for it!

• Maybe we can change 'Pictures' to 'Graphics', just so its more open to gifs and all that?!
• I'm not sure if we would need a separate section for Open Threads?! Maybe we can have an Open Thread Directory on the site instead and that way, people who aren't on discord can also find open threads in one place?!
• Do we want to add an ICC (In Character Chat) section as well, or should we reserve that to just the board's ICC?
• Should we add a separate section called 'Suggestions' or use that to replace 'Staff Requests' ? That way, if someone has an idea for the site, or activity, or anything, it can be organized in one place?

OK I'll stop rambling now!! Hahahah! I might think of something else but these were just a few ideas I wanted to throw out there!
